The Torquay Primary School P&C is a group of parents who meet once a month. As well as helping to arrange events such as school discos and Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day stalls, we discuss issues of interest to parents with the school management. We also have a representative on School Council.

Our main aims are:

• • Contributing to the wellbeing of school community members.
  • Encouraging the participation of all parents in the life of the school and the eduction of the their children.
  • Providing opportunities for all parents to discuss issues concerned with welfare and the general eductional policy of the school and to assist in the development of a shared parent view.
  • Conveying proposals on school policy and other school matters to the School Council.
  • Providing opportunities for parents to get to know each other and to be informed about their child’s school.
  • Providing training programmes and information sessions for parents to extend their understanding of school issues
  • To work in co-operation with the School Council
  • To raise funds for the benefit of the school
